2026 RESIDENT RETREAT

Each year, the DDM Resident Retreat is one of the most anticipated moments on our community calendar. It’s a special time set aside just for our residents to step away from routine, enjoy new experiences, and simply have fun together. From games, crafts, and outdoor activities to worship, music, and meaningful moments of reflection, the retreat is thoughtfully designed to nurture joy, connection, and personal growth.

More than anything, the Resident Retreat is a time of refreshment. Residents build friendships, create lasting memories, and return home feeling renewed, encouraged, and celebrated. It’s a beautiful reminder of the power of community and the importance of creating spaces where everyone can belong, thrive, and be themselves.

SUPPORTING CAMP
THROUGH LEAP

Through LEAP funds, DDM supports meaningful camp experiences that bring joy, growth, and connection to our residents each year at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge. Camp offers a unique opportunity to try new activities, build confidence, and form lasting friendships in an environment designed to be inclusive and encouraging. From outdoor adventures and creative programming to shared worship and laughter, these experiences create unforgettable memories.

LEAP ensures camp remains accessible for our residents, removing financial barriers and opening the door to moments of independence, belonging, and pure joy.

2026 Fundraising Goal: $20,000
